Dr Suffian Azizan

Dr. Suffian Azizan is a postdoctoral research scientist from Genomics & Bioinformatics Unit at CRMY. He obtained his bachelor degree with Honours in Science from The University of Melbourne, Australia, and was then awarded Melbourne International Research Scholarship from the same university to continue with a Ph.D in malarial epigenetics at Bio21 Institute, Melbourne, Australia. He then migrated to Singapore for a 16-month postdoctoral training at Nanyang Technological University, pivoting into human cancer epigenetics and bioinformatics, before returning to Malaysia in 2024 to join CRMY to contribute to bioinformatics research in Asian cancers. His current research interests include cancer transcriptomics and epigenomics.
