Defeating Cancer through Global Education and Training
AACR on Campus – Defeating Cancer through Global Education and Training - is a cooperative outreach program that brings to early career professionals locally relevant perspectives on cancer research trends and innovations at academic and cancer research institutions worldwide. It also provides opportunities for skills training in manuscript writing, scientific communication, research integrity, and network/career development.
AACR on Campus Malaysia is designed to equip early-career cancer researchers and clinicians with essential knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities. The week-long program spans 2 days in two locations and covers a range of topics related to cancer science, with a specific focus on issues relevant to Malaysia’s unique context.
About Cancer Research Malaysia
Established in 2000, Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY) is the only non-profit organisation in Malaysia dedicated to saving lives through impactful research focusing on the Malaysian population and communities across Asia. Our research has already led to the discovery and implementation of new and effective breast cancer prevention strategies and our priority is ensuring that Asians are not left out in the fight against cancer. Together with our partners and supporters, Cancer Research Malaysia’s vision is a future free of the fear of cancer.
