Dr Mohamad Hazwan Fikri
Dr. Mohamad Hazwan Fikri is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in genomics, transcriptomics, and systems biology. He completed his PhD at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, where he studied the genome architectures of phytopathogens and their roles in adaptation. At Cancer Research Malaysia, his work focuses on leveraging next-generation sequencing and integrative multi-omics approaches to understand tumor biology and identify novel Asian-specific biomarkers. He has contributed to projects exploring the tumor immune microenvironment and its relationships with risk factors and patient outcomes. His current research aims to develop predictive models for patient outcomes by integrating multimodal clinical and genomic data, with the goal of improving patient prognostication.
