

Dr Chew Lee Ping
Dr Chew Lee Ping is Consultant Haematologist and Deputy Head of Clinical Research Centre at Sarawak General Hospital as well as the Deputy Head of the Clinical Haematology Service,  and has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and medical education. Dr. Chew has been instrumental in advancing haematology services in Sarawak, with research spanning haematological malignancies, rare blood disorders, and transfusion-dependent conditions, with publications in The Lancet Haematology, New England Journal of Medicine, and the local  Medical Journal of Malaysia.  Beyond research, Dr. Chew actively serves in the Malaysian Society of Haematology, the National Specialist Registry committee, and advises NGOs such as SCAN and the Sarawak Thalassaemia Society. Her work reflects a strong commitment to advancing haematology care, research, and education in Malaysia.
